Happy, Happy Friday babes!
Just super happy the weekend is here. We are heading to Brewgaloo in Raleigh tomorrow. Brewgaloo is craft beer festival that’s held every year in downtown Raleigh. It’s an outdoor event with 100+ craft breweries to sample beer from. There are also food trucks and live music. I am not a huge fan of beer, but with 100+ different breweries to choose from I can always find something I like. If you’re in Raleigh, go check it out!
Another white dress for ya’ll today.
I’m sorry, I just love white for spring and summer. This dress is crazy versatile. I wore it on vacation, but this dress screams bride to me. It would be so adorable for an engagement party or pictures or a bridal shower.
Calling all brides!
&&&&& It’s on sale (!!!!), so you guys don’t have to pay as much as I did for it! 😉 It’s only available in a few size in white, but it’s fully stocked in a really pretty navy color. There are a few more sizes in the white version linked HERE.
Hope everyone has the best weekend! Stay tuned for another fun trip next week 🙂

Happy Tuesday friends! Raleigh is getting some serious rain this week, so I had to get this dress up so I can pretend it’s warm and sunny outside. I know, April showers bring May flowers, but I am seriously ready for summer.
Side note – I have seriously been slacking in the gym department.
Ever have those weeks (or months – oops) where you just can’t get motivated? That’s been me since January. So, I’m looking for something fresh to switch up my workout routine. Any suggestions? I’m a group fitness girl, self motivated programs like BBG just doesn’t work for me. I need structure. And someone telling me what to do. And a defined start and end time ;).
Anyways, back to the clothes!
So obsessed with the sweetest bow sleeve dress. I’ve been wearing this on repeat since I got it. It’s so comfortable and cute. Looks adorable dressed down with sandals or flats, too. I am really, really super obsessed with this bag. How fun for summer? It’s a great beach bag, but I’ve also just been wearing it as a tote. Really adds a pop of color to boring outfits (what are those? ;).
Questions? I’d love to hear from y’all! I am heading somewhere fun next week for work and I can’t wait to share it with you guys!

Happy weekend! We have been traveling a lot lately, so I’m happy to just be hanging close to home this weekend. Sometimes it’s nice to just go to the gym and do laundry? Amiright? How cute is this set y’all? I’m telling you Zara can literally do no wrong in my eyes. Every time I pop over to their website, I’m like I’ll take that and that and that. These shorts are super comfortable. I wore this set when we were in Key West to scooter around Duval Street. It’s the perfect set for those summer days when you want to look cute, but also don’t want to be hot.
I’m super guilty of basically only wearing nude shoes. Nude flats, nude sandals, nude pumps, nude wedges. They are just so easy to style. But, how cute are these Marc Fisher wedges? I love the pop of color and the design of the straps. They also come in a really pretty gold/ rose gold version. They’re under $75 bucks and super comfortable. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a colored summer wedge.
I hope you guys have the best weekend. Key West Travel Diary will be live on the blog early next week!

Little white dress season is upon us y’all, so break out your self tanner! Wore this little number on vacation and I couldn’t be more obsessed. It is beyond flattering. And its freaking $62 bucks. OBSESSED. It is a lined linen dress so be prepared for some wrinkles when wearing. I seriously swear by this little steamer Here. It’s small and compact, so I always travel with it. Fun little Heather fact – I have to iron/ steam my clothes before going out. I can’t stand wrinkles. They just scream “I don’t care” and who really wants their outfit to say that? All my friends in grad school would make fun of me for ironing my jeans and workout shirts. Sorry, not sorry!
Already professed my love for these shoes. I think I have them in four colors now. So comfy and stylish. I love a good designer dupe. So, go scoop them up! Full Blog posts on Disney and Key West will be up this week! Sorry y’all, just have a lot to say about our trips 😉

Happy, happy Monday babes. We are back from our mini vacation and I had to get this cute little dress up ASAP. It’s so easy to wear and it’s $26 bucks!!! I really don’t think I can say enough good things about it. It’s beyond flattering and did I mention it comes in three colors? Immediately after I put this on, I scooped up the other two colors. I think that the black version would be perfect for work with a blazer.
My shoes are designer dupes that I loveeeeee. I wasn’t willing to spend the $$$$ on the designer version and then I stumbled upon these guys on Amazon. They are super affordable, but I will warn you they took about 3ish weeks for them to arrive. Worth the wait in my opinion. They are surprisingly comfortable too. May or may not have ordered them in several other colors.
Hope you guys have the best week! My Key West travel diary and Disney diary will be on the blog this week!

Happy, Happy Monday Babes! We had the best time in Orlando over the weekend. Probably wasn’t our best idea to go over spring break, but it was still fun. Disney has changed so much since I was going when I lived in Florida. I didn’t even know they were building a Toy Story Land! It will be open in June and I’m a little bummed we missed it. The weather in Orlando was perfect all weekend. It was in the 80’s and so sunny, so coming back to Raleigh’s 50’s was no fun. BUT – we are heading on another mini vacay this weekend somewhere warm. Stay tuned! Full blog post coming this week on Disney / Orlando and some of my outfits y’all saw on my story.
So obsessed with this skirt. It’s perfect for spring/ summer. And beyond obsessed with this off the shoulder crop top. It’s $23 and I’ve gotten so much use out of it. Looks adorable with shorts too. My top, skirt, sunnies and bag are all under $100!!
Hope you guys have the best week. Any guesses about where were going this weekend?

How fun is this set y’all? Makes me want to twirl around with a margarita. But, that might be because I wore it to eat Mexican last night and it looked fantastic with a margarita in hand. To be honest, margaritas make any outfit look better in my expert opinion ;)! I had THE crappiest day I’ve had in a long time yesterday. My car was towed from my own apartment complex and I shattered the screen on my iPhone. It’s safe to say I needed a margarita or maybe 5 yesterday. BUT, isn’t it crazy how a cute outfit can seriously change your mood?
I love anything eyelet. So combine a matching set and eyelet and I’m all in. It’s just so feminine.. I also think this skirt will look great for work with a button down and nude pumps. Would you guys want me to do some posts where I style the same pieces for work and play? Let me know.
I am leaving for somewhere fun tonight! Yay for long weekends and warmer weather. Stay tuned to find out where!

Florals? for spring? Ground breaking. LOL hopefully you know what movie I’m quoting because it’s one of my all time favorites. But, truth be told, I would absolutely kill for Andy’s job in that movie. Anna Wintour – if you’re reading this call me 🙂 Side Note: anyone else hearing the rumors that the high priestess of Vogue will be on her way out come September?? Shocking news in the fashion world.
Anyways, back to the reason you stopped by this little blog – My dress. I wore this dress for Easter and got so many compliments y’all. I love, love, love it. It’s so feminine and flirty, it needs to be in your closet. The tie waist is super flattering. It’s on the longer side (I’m 5’6 for those who have asked), so I wouldn’t plan to wear it with sandals. This dress would be so perfect to wear to a spring wedding. Stay tuned for an entire post dedicated to how to dress for wedding season. Anyone else already have 5+ weddings to attend this summer?
Hope you love this dress as much as I do!

Happy Monday! Anyone else seriously dragging after the long weekend? I wore this outfit over the weekend and I had to share how obsessed I am with these shorts. They are a serious game changer. I hate shopping for jean shorts, which is saying a lot because I love to shop. Jean shorts can be so frustrating. They are either way too short (hi, those are my butt cheeks) or they are way too low rise (hello, muffin top). Maybe I’m just really picky, but I struggle with jean shorts. Enter Topshop’s new denim line. In the fall, Topshop’s jeans were selling out as soon as they hit the website. So, I wondered if their shorts would be just as flattering. So, in true Heather fasion, I ordered about 7 pairs. Spoiler Alert: I loved them all. Gonna link some of my other favorites Here and Here. Yall, they are flattering, on trend and $60 bucks. Go scoop them up because they keep selling out.
My top is more on the expensive side, but I get SO much use out of it. It looks cute at work with pants and on the weekend with shorts or jeans. It’s a staple top that I will wear all spring/summer long.
I hope you guys had the best Easter weekend. We are heading somewhere fun this weekend. Stay tuned to find out where. So many fun trips in April and May!
BLAZER: Zara │JEANS: Zara │SHOES: Schutz │BAG: Gucci │SUNNIES: Ray Ban │BRACELET: David Yurman
Happy long weekend everyone! I’m heading down to Florida to visit my parents and see my step-dog children ;). Wish Max and I luck on our seven hour car ride. Head over to my insta-stories for some beach fun.
Slightly obsessed with this blazer. I love a good blazer moment. How cute would this be with a white eyelet dress or skirt? It’s over sized so size down (wearing an XS). It’s also perfect for work and can easily be dressed down for play.
Like I said before, I don’t wear jeans very often (you’re probably rolling your eyes and saying c’mon Heather in you’re last three posts you’ve worn jeans). Blame it on NC’s refusal to participate in Spring. I’ve been crushing hard on lighter washed ripped denim. But, I don’t love to spend $$$ on denim I know won’t be “in” forever. I never recommend spending tons of money on trendy pieces. Save your money for pieces that will be in your closet for forever. So, these jeans are trendy and cost effective ($50). I’m only a little bit obsessed with them. They are a mid rise fit and are TTS.
Hope everyone has the best Easter! Questions? I’d love to hear from you.
